The USA starts the „hunt“ for the corrupt, brings the CIA, FBI, Federal Prosecutors and diplomats into play for the first time, anxiety in the political ranks in Albania, a new „black“ list of „non- thanks“

The United States of America has implemented a strong strategy for the fight against corruption, thus sending a strong message to all politicians and rulers involved in violence. On September 6, the US State Department published a plan on how the strategy will be implemented, thus announcing another „non-women“ list. The DASH website emphasizes that corruption damages economic growth, hinders development, destabilizes governments, undermines democracy and promotes global instability. In recognition of these threats, President Biden made the fight against corruption a core national security interest and foreign policy priority immediately after taking office. „In the spirit of open government and transparency, we are publishing this plan. The Department of State welcomes comments on this implementation plan and looks forward to working with our partners as we continue to fight corruption,“ states the DASH website. So this DASH decision is an alarm bell for any politician and government officials all over the world who is involved in corrupt and criminal affairs, that they will have their work cut out for them and that anyone will find their name on Washington’s „black list“ . However, this decision of the US Department of State has caused panic and anxiety in Albanian politics, since some „VIP“ characters headed by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha have been declared „non-women“ by DASH.
