MEP Knut Fleckenstein said that if two of the most important courts in Albania, the Constitutional Court and Supreme Court, are not functional, then the fight against corruption and organized crime will fail.“If these institutions do not function, then all other objectives will be hard to be achieved. I’d say that the implementation of the justice reform would make the whole difference, because if this system does not function normally, then it’s hard to be successful in the fight against corruption and organized crime”, Fleckenstein declared.
